As part of Fashion Alley 2026, MosFocus magazine met with Elena Vi — a singer and the head of the festival jury. During the conversation, the artist spoke about her creative journey and new projects.
Elena shared her plans for the performance, where she will present three songs. She paid special attention to her recent release, “My Soul Screams,” and also spoke about her other works — “It Happened in Many Ways” and “I Walk All Night.”
The story of the singer’s creative development turned out to be interesting. As it turned out, Elena is a native of the Far East, where she worked in law enforcement and rose to the rank of colonel. Moving to Moscow became a turning point in her life, opening new opportunities for realizing her creative potential.
Family plays a special role in the artist’s life. Elena has three sons who always support her creative endeavors. Speaking about her work as a jury member, the singer emphasized the importance of sincerity and a heartfelt connection with the participants, believing that it is the heart that should be the main judge in evaluating talent.
The interview highlighted the versatility of Elena Vi and her ability to successfully combine different roles — from a strict officer to a creative artist.
