At the Mask Awards 2025, a MosFocus correspondent interviewed media personality Anna Kalashnikova. The conversation opened with a compliment and a question about the secret of her boundless energy.
Anna warmly responded to the journalist’s words: “Oh, what beautiful words! Thank you so much.” She admitted that maintaining the image of always being beautiful and well-groomed is no easy feat, but everything becomes simpler when you’re doing what you love: “This is my work, the work of my life.”
With nostalgia, Anna recalled her childhood dreams: “For as long as I can remember — and I remember myself from the age of three or five — I already dreamed of being a star. I would imagine myself on stage in my dreams — that girl, that woman who sings and presents.”
Today, Anna does not just attend events as a guest — she actively participates in them. That evening, she took on the role of host alongside Vadim Adamson. Anna spoke about her long-standing collaboration with him: joint projects, work on the radio, appearing on the cover of his magazine. She reminded the audience that last year she hosted the same awards show, and this year she has hosted all his events.
Additionally, Anna shared that together with her show ballet, she had prepared special pre-holiday New Year’s performances — a mini-concert. The journalist caught her just before she went on stage, and she smiled and asked, “Please, take a beautiful photo of us!” Anna also reminded everyone that the programme included the awarding of the best participants according to the awards’ selection.
When asked about her mood, Anna confessed: “I’m in good spirits, but honestly, there’s so much work that I really want to get some sleep! But you realise that in December, that’s impossible. I dream of getting some sleep at least on the 1st of January — I’m already thinking about it and hoping my dream will come true.”
In conclusion, the journalist asked Anna to share her New Year’s wishes. She replied in detail: “In the New Year, I wish everyone peaceful skies, peaceful news — at last! And, of course, in this year of the Fiery, Golden, Red — whatever you like — Horse, I wish that none of us become overtired, but that we gracefully and beautifully enjoy life, just as this magnificent animal gallops. And for those who haven’t found their soulmate yet, I wish you to find your love. For those who are dreaming of children — may that dream come true. And, of course, may everything you personally dream about come true.” To finish, she invited everyone to listen to her new song, “New Year”, created to bring a festive mood.
