The art evening “The Golden Code of Russian Culture” was held as part of the international “Connection of Eras” project at the Grand Ballroom of HILTON MOSCOW LENINGRADSKAYA — a legendary Stalinist skyscraper, architectural landmark and site of Russian cultural heritage.
The “Golden Code” is a metaphor for the value and enduring nature of Russian culture.
Heritage is the foundation of the future.
The central idea of the evening was to recognize creators who carefully preserve the Russian cultural code while reinterpreting it through contemporary art. The organizers brought together those who continue the traditions of great cultural figures such as Mikhail Bulgakov, Ivan Bilibin and Carl Fabergé.
Their work is living proof that the “Golden Code” has not remained frozen in history — it continues to resonate today.
Together, the participants opened a door into a space where architecture speaks the language of diplomacy, art connects eras, dance becomes a dialogue, and manuscripts do not burn.

Secrets of the Stalinist Skyscraper
A guided tour of the hotel museum became an immersion into the Soviet era.
Guests walked through halls where the voices of diplomats and influential figures of the 1950s once echoed.
These walls do not simply preserve history — they continue to create it.

A Gallery of Talent
Among the participating artists, Irina Mitrikova presented her diptych Chess Symphony for the first time.
Elmira Kushtova showcased three-dimensional paintings featuring semi-precious mineral inlays.
Alexandra Nesterova presented the Tree of Wishes art objects.
Victoria Kalashnikova, founder of the Aspect-Oasis brand, presented sculptural floristry.
Jewelry artist Luara Musi from Makhachkala presented jewelry artifacts in which cultural heritage comes alive.
The exhibition also featured works by Elizaveta Yagovitova, founder of the SUTURE brand, ceramic florist Yulia Kurikhina, jewelry designer Natalia Aglicheva and jewelry designer Gaya Grig.

The Theatre of Fashion
A show of evening dresses by MILA YURAKOVA, with the participation of modeling agency SLAVA MODELS and the PERSONNALITÉ modeling studio of Sechenov University, brought the aesthetics of the past into contemporary silhouettes.
Designer Anna Gorbacheva (AGf-Jewels) presented An Elegant Ode to the Grandmaster, dedicated to world chess champion Alexander Alekhine and accompanied by music by Sergei Prokofiev.
The theatrical fragrance of THEATRE des PARFUMS FRANCE, inspired by ballerina Galina Ulanova, together with vintage perfumes from the Soviet era, recreated the atmosphere of the 1950s.

A Dialogue About What Matters
The discussion program brought together Beatrice Malakhova, president of a media holding; internationally renowned celebrity photographer Dmitry Kamanin; musicologist and composer Andrey Kudryavtsev; cryptographer and author of 26 books Anatoly Klepov; and poet and journalist Anna Koshmina.
Each spoke about essential questions — heritage, art, technology and the ideas that connect different eras.

Creating History
Lucia Roshchevkina, head of the international “Connection of Eras” project, presented diplomas to the participants as recognition of their outstanding contributions and an invitation to further cooperation.

Musical Heritage
The evening’s program featured performances by opera star Marina Agafonova, known for her “magical soprano” and recipient of the Grand Verdi Prize, coloratura soprano Aurelia Kras, and virtuoso violinist Igor Balashov.

Dance as Living Heritage
The dance program brought together rhythms from the 1930s, 1950s and 2020s.
Tango workshops, as well as European and Latin American dance classes, created an atmosphere of a living dialogue between generations and eras.

An International Dimension
Among the honored guests were figures with influence on the international cultural and professional agenda:
Alexander Schweidel, President of the Eurasian Chamber of National Cultural Values;
Lubarto Sartayo Sanvirya of Indonesia, President of the Alliance of Business Structures and Entrepreneurs of Southeast Asian Countries;
Amerigo Tatel of the Philippines;

The evening demonstrated that cultural heritage is not simply a memory of what came before.
It can become a source of new ideas, new forms and new dialogue.
Inside a historic Moscow skyscraper, architecture, art, fashion, music and dance came together to connect different generations and eras.
Heritage is the foundation of the future.
