At Moscow Fashion Week, young model Marina represents the fashion brand Li Lab. At just 17, she is already familiar with runway work. In an interview with MosFocus, she talks about her modeling journey, personal style, education, and ambitions.
How Marina entered the modeling industry
Marina says her career began unexpectedly. She was invited to join a modeling agency and decided to accept. Becoming a model had never been her childhood dream. Nevertheless, that opportunity opened a new chapter in her life.
Modeling requires commitment. Before a show, models attend rehearsals and prepare for the physical and emotional demands of the runway. Yet Marina says the experience makes the effort worthwhile.
“When you step onto the runway, the energy makes you forget all the difficulties of the day.”
Fashion, an active lifestyle and personal style
Marina leads an active lifestyle filled with events and sports. Therefore, comfort is important when she chooses everyday clothes. At the same time, she likes adding fashionable details to create a distinctive look. She also enjoyed the Li Lab outfit she wore for the show, even though she usually chooses less eye-catching clothes in everyday life.
Education comes first
Although Marina dreams of international modeling opportunities, she does not want to put her education aside. First, she plans to finish school and study journalism. She is considering the Higher School of Economics. Later, she hopes to explore modeling opportunities abroad, especially in Milan and Paris.
Marina’s story reflects a thoughtful approach to ambition: develop your skills, continue learning, and keep your future options open.
