Alia Gaisina on the New Rules of the Modeling Business

Alia Gaisina — modern modeling business

The modern modeling business is changing rapidly. Traditional standards are giving way to greater diversity. At REGUL FEST, MosFocus spoke with Alia Gaisina, a modeling agency director and founder of a modeling school.

New standards in fashion

Alia spoke about working with models of different ages. She also highlighted the growing demand for plus-size models.

Today, the industry is no longer focused only on traditional measurements. Mature women are also finding opportunities in fashion. Therefore, age and body type are becoming less restrictive.

“Absolutely anyone” — Alia Gaisina’s answer to whether any woman or girl can try modeling.

A modeling school since 2002

Alia’s journey began with fashion design studies. After seeing how fashion events worked behind the scenes, she decided to create her own fashion theater.

Since 2002, her modeling school has worked with students of different ages. As a result, more people can explore modeling regardless of traditional appearance standards.

The modern modeling industry is becoming more inclusive. New standards create opportunities for a wider range of people. Most importantly, fashion is increasingly learning to recognize beauty through individuality.
