As part of “Fashion Alley 2026,” MosFocus magazine journalist Kirill Prepelitse met with the event’s regular host, Fyodor Fedotov. The conversation began with warm greetings, after which it turned to Fyodor’s professional activities as a presenter.
Fyodor shared that he has been working alongside Alla Belotkach since the project’s inception. According to him, they are inseparably linked to “Fashion Alley” and continue to develop the project together.
When asked about unforeseen situations at events, the host replied that there have been no serious problems. All working moments are resolved promptly during rehearsals. Fedotov paid special attention to how the preparations for performances are carried out.
According to Fyodor, there is no need to memorize texts in advance—the script is provided before the start. The most important quality for a host is the ability to improvise and connect words naturally. He noted that working on the project requires constant attention: as soon as one event ends, preparation for the next begins.
The host also shared his approach to possible mistakes during performances. In his opinion, even if a misunderstanding occurs (for example, announcing the wrong participant), the main thing is to stay calm and act confidently.
