At the Stars of the Galaxy 2025 festival, a MosFocus magazine correspondent interviewed musician Alex Project. The conversation began with a question about the artist’s recent participation in a live broadcast on Block Radio.
Alex Project shared his positive impressions: he noted that the broadcast was wonderful — we managed to talk not only about music and creativity, but also about life in general. The musician stressed that he always strives for a comprehensive dialogue. In addition, he said that he was invited again — the next broadcast is planned at the end of the year.
Then the conversation turned to the creative process. The journalist asked how much time it takes Alex Project on average to create a track. The artist replied that the timing varies: sometimes three hours is enough to record a song. He also recalled a case when in one day he managed not only to record vocals, but also to compose a melody, as well as make an arrangement.
The musician emphasized that the most successful tracks are born when the work is fast and inspired. According to him, songs created “from the heart” in a short time often turn out to be the most sincere and memorable.
The next question concerned the team: the journalist clarified whether Alex Project was working independently or with assistants. The artist said that he does all the work himself — he has his own recording studio, where he independently records and produces himself. In addition, he helps other performers: he records them and supports them at the start of their creative journey.
At the end of the interview, we talked about the performance at the festival. Alex Project has confirmed that they will perform the song “Love Me Tonight” around the middle of the evening.
