The latest issue of MosFocus magazine features an interview with Irina Leontyeva—a talented monumental artist and interior designer with 18 years of professional experience.
Host Tatyana began the conversation by asking Irina how she ended up at RuNoFest. The artist explained that she was invited by the festival organizer, Elias Regul, after he saw her works on Instagram*.
During the interview, Irina shared her impressions of the event and spoke about her professional activities. She noted that she finds it easier to integrate her artistic vision into an existing space than to adapt a space to a project.
The interview paid special attention to Irina’s ability to sense her clients’ tastes. According to the artist, her training as an art psychologist helps her read the moods and desires of her clients.
Discussing her work on projects for restaurants and hotels, Irina spoke about the importance of considering the wishes of future visitors. Before launching each project, her team conducts a thorough analysis of current trends and the preferences of the target audience.
Speaking about her creative plans, Irina admitted she dreams of realizing as many interesting projects as possible. At the same time, she noted that she doesn’t feel nostalgic about completed works, since each project for her is a finished work of art.
At the end of the conversation, Irina presented her new series of paintings—a triptych titled “Masculine and Feminine Beginnings,” which she brought to the exhibition. According to her, this work reflects her philosophical vision of the world, where the masculine and feminine principles are the foundation of all existence.
The interview ended with warm wishes and gratitude from both sides for an engaging conversation.
