In an exclusive interview with MosFocus magazine at the Real Musicbox Awards 2025, rising star Anna-Maria Yankovskaya shared her impressions of the unprecedented success of her track “Sigma Boy.”
The artist admitted that she did not expect such widespread recognition—her song reaching the 7th place in the global charts came as a genuine surprise. “I knew that the song would turn out great and find its audience, but such success exceeded all expectations,” the performer remarked.
According to the singer, she is currently working on several exciting collaborations that the public will learn about soon.
When discussing her personal plans, Anna-Maria revealed her intention to celebrate the New Year with her family, considering this holiday to be exclusively familial. Among her wishes for the upcoming year is to get a dog, although, as the artist confessed, this dream might remain unrealized.
During the conversation, it became clear that the performer has an unusual hobby: four years ago, she studied painting at a studio affiliated with the Tretyakov Gallery—a fact known to very few.
