At the Bloggers Music Awards 2026, MosFocus journalist Kirill Prepelitse met with the popular duo of Nikita Sorokin and Lilu. The conversation began with a question about how the artists came up with the idea of creating parodies.
According to Nikita and Lilu, everything started quite spontaneously—they decided to make parodies of Volochkova and Shalyapin. On October 1, they filmed their first video, and on the 2nd it was released. A key moment was the transformation from their makeup artist Nadezhda, who created such convincing looks that the artists themselves were amazed by their resemblance to the originals.
One especially interesting incident happened on social media, when their home photo was mistakenly taken for a picture featuring famous personalities. In a political news post, a shot of the duo was published instead of a photo of Shaman, sparking lively discussion in the comments.
The artists shared that they first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Later, after running into each other at a bloggers’ event, they discovered a remarkable similarity in their approach to work. Lilu noted how rare it is to find such a responsible attitude in show business, where many complain about any inconvenience.
Currently, the duo is actively developing both joint and solo projects. They create a variety of content, from parodies to music tracks. According to the artists, what unites them is not only creativity, but also their shared work ethic—a willingness to give their all and always be on time.
At the end of the conversation, Nikita shared an important observation: “The most important thing is discipline in everything. If you want to achieve something, just work hard, and you’ll succeed.”
