Kirill Prepelitsa (correspondent of MosFocus magazine): Hello! In what capacity are you attending the Fashion Alley today?
OLLI: Hello! I have two roles today: I am acting as a jury member and, of course, I will adorn the evening with my creativity.
Kirill: What are your expectations from judging? Don’t you think it will be difficult to evaluate the participants?
OLLI: No, this is not my first time. I have a small but very heartfelt experience in judging, so everything will go great.
Kirill: Can you tell us how the judging process usually works?
OLLI: The main thing is the sympathy towards the image. There are many criteria, but first and foremost, it should touch the heart.
Kirill: Is there any outfit or designer that has left the biggest impression on you?
OLLI: My memory isn’t always great, but I remember songs excellently. By the way, speaking of songs — I have a favorite composition called “Ambivalence,” which I will perform today.
Kirill: How long did it take to create it?
OLLI: Just 15 minutes, and I wrote it right in the kitchen.
Kirill: How does your creative process go? Do you work in a studio or at home?
OLLI: I start at home, and then I go to the studio for arrangement and refinement.
Kirill: What is the longest time you’ve spent recording a song?
OLLI: The shortest recording took half an hour, and the longest was about 2 hours and 42 minutes.
Kirill: How do you write lyrics? In freestyle or do you plan ahead?
OLLI: I’m quite old-fashioned in this regard. Lyrics come to my mind spontaneously. My mood does not affect my creativity — I can be sad and write a cheerful song, and vice versa.
Kirill: What percentage of your written songs are released?
OLLI: I have a rather strict selection process. I’ve written many songs, but I’m very selective. At the moment, I have 12 released tracks, but a lot of new releases are expected this year.
Kirill: Thank you for the interesting interview!
Kirill: MosFocus magazine.
