In an interview with MosFocus magazine, award nominee Ilya Gurov shared details about his upcoming performance. The artist revealed that he will perform his track “You Are My Everything” on stage, which was recognized by the award organizers. According to the singer, this song, released last year, brought him a significant number of streams and a new audience.
At the awards ceremony, the premiere of the continuation of his popular track will take place—a new song called “You Are the Main One in My Life.” In a conversation with correspondent Kirill Prepelitsa, Gurov spoke openly about the negative attention he receives online. The singer admitted that he faces a large number of haters who often criticize his appearance, especially the color and length of his hair.
“A normal person would never write a bad comment. They would come, listen to the music, attend the concert, give a like. But a hater, who writes something, unintentionally helps attract the audience’s attention,” the artist shared.
Speaking about self-criticism, Ilya admitted that sometimes he suffers from insecurity and tends to overthink. Nevertheless, he tries to find balance and remember that “the best is the enemy of the good.”
