At RuNoFest 2026, an interview took place with Svetlana—the director of fashion shows. She was the mastermind behind all the runway events that the audience could enjoy at the festival.
During the conversation, Svetlana spoke about the challenging work of directing fashion shows. According to her, she draws inspiration from the models who participate in the shows. Preparing each event demands tremendous effort: Svetlana spends a lot of time backstage, coordinating the work of all participants.
Things get especially difficult when more than ten shows need to be prepared in a single day. Creating one show can take more than 40 minutes, sometimes even longer. Despite all the challenges, the result is worth it.
The models often note Svetlana’s professionalism, admiring her ability to organize such a complex process. After the shows, participants frequently approach the director to express their gratitude, which becomes the best reward for her hard work.
In the future, Svetlana plans to expand her work: to collaborate with more models and designers and to reach the level of a full-fledged fashion week. This ambitious goal reflects her drive for professional growth and progress in the world of fashion.
